FAQs

Will it be safe to travel in November?

Chris and I feel that no, it won’t. As such, we have decided to postpone our wedding reception until a time when we can all safely come together, share stories with one another, give hugs, and see the sights in Nashville without worry. We hope that you will keep us in mind, and be on the lookout for our updated Save the Dates as the situation regarding COVID-19 becomes safer and clearer. Hopefully we can make it a first anniversary celebration, but we are not going to put a timeline on the safety of the people we love.

Wait, so you’re not getting married November 14?

No. Chris and I are eloping in Las Vegas at some point before the reception. When, exactly, is a secret. Not even our parents know. We will let you all know once the deed is done!

What do I wear?

For the reception we ask that you wear cocktail attire. That means dress or nice pantsuits for ladies, slacks and a dress shirt with a tie for men, jacket optional. We aren’t big on dancing and will be providing other entertainment, so no need to bring dancing shoes.

There’s no actual registry. How do I pick stuff to buy you?

We appreciate if you want to buy us gifts, but Chris and I have been together almost 7 years, living together for some of them. There just isn’t anything we want or need - except to see you! Please put any money you’d spend toward your travel and accommodations, or consider a donation to charity on our behalf.

Can I bring my kids?

No. Take the night off from parenting, please!

How will I get to the reception or brunch?

There will be shuttle transport from the hotel we reserve a block at to the the reception and to Sunday brunch, but otherwise you can take an uber or lyft no problem!
