We’re Getting Married
CHRIS + MEGAN
And We Can’t Celebrate Without You!
Chris and Megan are eloping at an undisclosed date and time.
Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, our celebration has been postponed until we feel safe asking you all to join us, travel, give hugs, and share stories and laughter.
We don’t know when that will be, but hope that you’ll keep us in your plans when life begins to return to normal.
The Bride
A short snippet about the bride.
Megan is originally from Nashville then went and got a couple degrees on the East Coast. She’s very much looking forward to celebrating with her best friends from Boston University and the University of the Arts. After missing friendly strangers and trees, she moved back to the south and made a home in Austin, TX where she pays property taxes so Schwartz can have his own yard to poop in, and along with Chris they are all servants to the one and only Fluttershy.
Megan is currently very active in her communities in both Austin and Nashville, sitting on the board of Directors at LETS Play in Nashville, The Austin Museum Partnership, and the Austin Chapter of the Awesome Foundation, a grant reviewer for Impact Austin and Impact Nashville, and donates time or money whenever she can between Star Trek binges snuggled up with the family.
The Groom
A short snippet about the groom.
Chris is a born and raised Austinite and longs for the days when there was no traffic, open fields, and SXSW was hardly even a mild inconvenience. He loves Austin so much he stuck around to get his undergrad degree at the University of Texas in Computer Science and helped turn his sleepy town into a little Silicon Valley. At some point he showed a modicum of kindness to a ruthless cat, Fluttershy, and foisted her upon Megan. She repaid the favor by supplying a lifetime of pug snuggles.
Chris is the Director of Technology at Ziff Davis Media Group, overseeing a team of employees who really seem to like him. He loves his BMW, fishing, shooting, and evenings snuggled up with the family watching Star Trek reruns.
The Registry
The gift of your presence is all we need. If you insist on anything else, please consider a donation to one of our favorite charities, or to an organization that makes your community a better place to call home.
